The first of the 2013 Edicion Limitada's from Habanos is a Hoyo de Monterrey. The 55 ring catches the eye!

Burning

Known for their sweet, fresh blends, the Grand Epicure offers that little bit more. With a massive 55 ring, this Epicure is rounder and 'stickier' than your usual Hoyo Epicure cigars. Familiar start with warm honey and light wood notes and then the cigar kicks into gear.

Final

The finish is a bit wild, but the cigars is young so this should subdue. Great potential to offer one day a very special smoke.

Hoyo de Monterrey "Grand Epicure" is a vitola specially selected for this Edicion Limitada, 2013. These 10 Habanos are produced "Totalmente a Mano" - Totally handmade - after an exquisite selection of wrapper, filler and binder leaves coming from the Vuelta Abajo (D.O.P) plantations and aged at least 2 years. This vitola keeps the flavour of Hoyo de Monterrey's blend, which makes it an attractive choice for those who seek a delicate yet aromatic Habano that is lighter to the taste but with great elegance and complexity.
